Mechanism of Action

NA-Semax-Amidate is a terminally protected analogue of Semax. Acetylation and amidation slow exopeptidase degradation, prolonging exposure. In research models Semax-class peptides upregulate BDNF and NGF expression and modulate monoaminergic and neurotrophic signalling.
