Mechanism of Action

Gonadorelin is synthetic GnRH. Pulsatile GnRH-receptor activation on pituitary gonadotrophs stimulates LH and FSH secretion; continuous exposure by contrast desensitises the receptor. It is studied as the physiological driver of the gonadal axis in research models.
