Mechanism of Action

Ipamorelin binds the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a) on pituitary somatotrophs, evoking selective, pulsatile GH release. Unlike earlier secretagogues it shows negligible ACTH, cortisol, and prolactin activity in research models, yielding a comparatively clean GH signal.
