LL-37
Human Cathelicidin Peptide
37-amino-acid human cathelicidin-derived peptide (hCAP-18 C-terminus). Broad antimicrobial and immunomodulatory activity, disrupting microbial membranes and modulating host innate responses in research models.
Mechanism of Action
LL-37 is the sole human cathelicidin peptide. It forms amphipathic helices that permeabilise microbial membranes and also binds host receptors (FPR2, P2X7) to modulate chemotaxis, angiogenesis, and wound-associated inflammation in research models.
