Humanin
Mitochondrial-Derived Cytoprotective Peptide
24-amino-acid mitochondrial-derived peptide encoded within the 16S rRNA region. Cytoprotective and metabolic signalling via a trimeric cell-surface receptor in research models.
Mechanism of Action
Humanin is a mitochondrial-derived peptide that signals through a heterotrimeric receptor (CNTFR / WSX-1 / gp130) and antagonises pro-apoptotic Bax/BID activity. It activates STAT3 signalling and improves insulin sensitivity and cytoprotection in research models.

Certificate of Analysis
Every Mindtek batch is independently tested before release. We were among the first peptide suppliers in Southeast Asia to implement mandatory third-party HPLC verification — a standard, not an exception.
