Mechanism of Action

Epithalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) activates TERT (telomerase reverse transcriptase) in somatic cells, extending telomere length in culture and in vivo. Acts on pineal gland to restore melatonin secretion rhythmicity. Antioxidant activity via oxidative stress gene modulation and DNA repair pathway upregulation.
